on this page you will find portraits over the years. they are just samples from various projects and photo series, which are gradually added and changed.
through portraits, I try to convey to the recipient a brief insight into the photographed individual. how I see her/him through the camera lens and how we both feel at that moment. they are not a faithful copy and do not depict a person in full, which is why portraits are a bit more important to me. they depict one specific moment from the personality and present only one short shot. I often take photos with people in several places and return to them in order to capture additional fragments of them and thus piece together another part of the mosaic of their reflected self.

prostredníctvom portrétov sa snažím recipientovi sprostredkovať krátky náhľad do fotografovaného jedinca. to, ako ho vidím skrz šošovku fotoaparátu a to, ako sa v danom momente obaja cítime. nie sú vernou kópiou a nezobrazujú človeka v úplnosti, práve preto sú pre mňa portréty o niečo dôležitejšie. zobrazujú jeden konkrétny moment z osobnosti a prezentujú iba jeden krátky záber. často s ľuďmi fotím na viacerých miestach a vraciam sa k nim, aby som mohla zachytiť ďalšie úryvky z nich a poskladať tak ďalšiu časť z mozaiky ich reflektovaného ja.
